- 9 sliced pork ribs
- salt and pepper to season
- 2 tbs olive oil
- sliced ginger
- sliced onions
- crushed garlic (about 3 cloves)
- 1 tbs crushed red pepper
- Whole black pepper (about 10)
- Star Anise (About 4)
- 3/4 cup honey
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup rice wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 whole cinnamon stick (broken into about 3 medium pieces)
