Ingredients

  • 9 sliced pork ribs
  • salt and pepper to season
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • sliced ginger
  • sliced onions
  • crushed garlic (about 3 cloves)
  • 1 tbs crushed red pepper
  • Whole black pepper (about 10)
  • Star Anise (About 4)
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup rice wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 whole cinnamon stick (broken into about 3 medium pieces)
